ABOUT US:
Team RPM was established on the 1st of January in 2003, a club formed by family and friends. Since we have always been into cars, it was only natural for us to be in a team together. The team's name was originally the GT Falcons, but it was short lived. Tommy Pham came up with "Team RPM," Which stands for "Racing, Performance, and Modification," the essential ideas behind import tuning.
The club didn't start getting off the ground until Bowie Tran decided to come up with a website design, and started the first team RPM website in geocities. It was then that Anh-Tuan Tran took Bowie's design and modified it to improve the asthetic look. The site has gone through three phases, and this is the third phase of the site (Team RPM version 3.0).
The team's original logo idea was a tachometer with Team RPM written across it, which Tommy Pham came up with. But since it was such a commonly used design, we decided to create a very subtle and simple logo using a simple font. Everybody unanimously agreed on the simple design, and it became the team's icon. Our first team decal and banner was designed and made at Phantasm Motorsports of Raleigh, NC. Many thanx to Phantasm Motorsports for their support and help with our team. Team RPM also have a strong tie to it's sister site, ImportsNC, which was created by Brandon Millard, a member of the group. ImportsNC serves as the source of NC's import scene. We would like to encourage tuners to register to the forum and be a part of one of the largest forum that caters to the NC import's scene.
